Intresting... Anybody confirmed whether this is why it happens?
I also had a headphone die on me last month. All the symptoms were exactly the same. Also I pull out the headphones a lot, while the music is still playing. Hmmm...

Anyway, i gave my headphone to Nokia Care, they send away somewhere and I got a brand new headset after 10 days (ten days!). The thing is, I want to know the validity of the warranty period for the headset. Will it only be the lifetime of the phone or is it the validity of the new headset from the day I got it?
Nokia says that headphones warranty is from the date of purchase of phone and not headphone.
