@all the ones asking for the app; Please be more patient We all are eager to see what this project will look like - people who need WhatsApp and those who are interested in how it's done.

This is a free-time development and I'm sure tgalal (and co?) have all the motivation to work on that. We already got MORE informations about it than expected and even a confirmation that it likely will be a fully usable WhatsApp client.

If there is something the developer(s) want to share they'll do that. This isn't the forum or thread to ask such things + if there are news I'm sure you'll find it very fast on several blogs, twitter etc...
