Very cool! The only thing I should note is that you'd probably want to allow for some sort of soft lining on the inside of the sliding panel; I doubt that the glass will scratch easily, but that's pretty much the only downside I see with my Casio cover. (I guess it'd also reduce scratches on the back side, if you do implement a reversible slider. )
