Good job finding the permission issues, thanks!

I for now added
chmod -R a+rw /opt/modrana
to the postinst script. I know this is not ideal, but I dont have a real N900 (well, yet ) so I cant just look what the default username/uid is

So, I would like to ask:
  • Whats the default username/uid ?
  • Is it always the same ?
  • Can it possibly be changed by the user ?
  • Is there some other way how to consistently set folder ownership ?
Then I can replace it by something like this:
chown -R default_user /opt/modrana
chmod -R o-rw /opt/modrana
chmod -R ug+rw /opt/modrana
I replaced the package with a new one with modified postinst, name/URL are the same.
