Reflash kernel only. The next boot will be directly to Maemo (no BackupMenu) and with the stock kernel but everything else will be left untouched. Then you can reinstall BootMenu, BackupMenu and your favourite kernel. Next time make sure initrd-progs are at version 0.81-7. BackupMenu conflicts with the newer version.
