no SWYPE feature in this kind of keyboard. you need to install swype on your own and use its own KB.

you can edit longpress characters, so yes, it's possibe to remove it - already removed in my version of KB.

symbols can be also added ofcourse to longpress menu. arrows can be added to symbols as well - but, better not to include SYMBOLS.XML but inclue symbols0 and symbols1 sections into KB itself (like I did already).

no specific app can be set to use specific KB. as it is still the same, just some signs are changed according pre-set in phone to make it easier.
