I got Korean to display system wide on my N9!
You just have to copy a ttf file into
/usr/share/fonts
directory. (I named mine koreanfont.ttf but that means it can be named anything) I transferred the file via SSH sftp over wireless. (ssh server is already built-in and enabled on the N9 which is awesome)
Then just reboot the phone to ensure N9 uses it system wide. (without a reboot, it uses it still but not in some parts such as the web browser)
I have no idea how it just decides to use that font instead of others but hey, I'm not complaining!
Now all I need is Korean input support and I'll be VERY happy.
UPDATE:
Korean input is now possible also! (although not perfect)
