As far as c) goes... it depends what you mean...
the neo-guys are building it to run...
as far as what distro it'll ship with...it'll be something manageable.
the fptf is working on making sure fremantle works on it.
considering the open hardware....the question now becomes personal...
what os would YOU personally like to run on it?
you mention ubuntu touch...
me..I'm torn.
soooo many possibilities ...
