Seeing as MS is "donating" 1 billion USD to the cause of getting rid of Nokia's open source ambition, if we were to simply match that offer that would mean about a 20000 USD from every member of TMO if counting each and every one past and present; or if we can only reach the currently participating members that would be more like a 7 to 8 digit amount per each member.

So, ladies and gentlemen, ready your checkbooks! (Can someone spot me on this, dont't have that kind of cash on me right now..)

Jokes aside - seeing a kickstarter project succeeding in making an acceptable open source phone is probably more likely than seeing Nokia reverse its course before it hits the iceberg.
