as far as whatsapp goes. Unless some magic unicorn has come along... Whatsapp has effectively closed it's doors to hacking it for the n900. Telegram works with pidgin ...that is about as good as it gets. Being in IT helps I am sure... But Linux and especially maemo are a different breed of cow than windows or mac or android... what applies to them....what fundamentals they follow ... does not apply to us. as far as removing the obsolete links goes.... that is up to the site maintainer-ship here. there most obviously must be issues with its removal...or it would have been done so day 1
