Wrong. Very wrong. The Nokia n9 runs meego harmattan and not Mer/Nemo. To all new users reading this thread. Please be aware that installing nemo/mer should NOT be considered as a replacement for the default OS on your Nokia device. This OS is still in the development stages and still contains many "bugs" and software that has still yet to be developed. Nemo and Mer is not recommended for end users for the reasons above. It is primarily intended for Developers and power users with extensive knowledge the n900 as there is a very real danger of losing all data on your phone and causing a reflash. It should also be noted that sifo is posting information found from various sources across the web and is offering NO information to help restore your devices should the worst happen.
