I think its from design, not a "pattern" in fact, like some broken gfx that scrolls from the bottom to the top, before the ASUI screen appear.
Anyway, I did a re-install of it and played some time with the ASUI settings, ta-da, I disabled the "slide on" option , the screen pops immediately
