I've used the N800 with Maemo recorder to record a few riffs and things so I don't forget them, and it works pretty well, but you have to make sure to set .wav as the format, otherwise it is mostly garbled. Also, I've had a few songs apparently disappear, which is a bummer. The files, which at one time worked fine, now open, but don't play anymore.
