Thanks for the info. However this won't help with CuteSpotify since it is not using librespotify but instead it implements an instance the Spotify Android-SDK library in QT wrapper library

I started already looking into the matter, and as it seems librespot is implemented in Rust the working name for the project is RustySpot

(Why are people using these obscure new languages, "Rust", huh...??? What's wrong with bloody plain old K&R c??)
