As just an end-user, I hate the Ubuntu interface. KDE is much more to my liking. Even still, the Linux directory structure is confusing and downright stupid. This makes doing simple file tasks hard.
You do realize that after every windows iteration it are moving closer and closer towards the linux way? And the directory structure are not especially hard. Pretty logical actually. This post pretty much shows how clueless you are about linux. And you do know that you could mimic the windows desktop completely if you'd like. Someone actually made a Gnome theme for that
