That would be much easier for teddy bear type users. It would (presumably) also sort the 'single log in' problem, for brainstorm at least. If the ideas could appear as a poll in the talk thread (editable if vbulletin will allow). It would be a lot less scary, utilising systems and concepts I'm familar with from other forums instead of something completely nrew.

The only downside I can see is if part of the complexity is deliberate to deter casual voters.
