I've tried a magnitude of different browsers and not a single one was satisfactory. Here's a list of browser I've tried:

MicroB - Incredibly heavy on system resources and very outdated.
Firefox - Even heavier than MicroB and also outdated (though a little more recent than MicroB).
Midori - Completely refuses to load https sites.
Tear - Completely refuses to load any page at all (just shows loading icon forever).
Dillo - Has more or less the same W3-standards support as Mosaic.
Mauco - Only shows iPhone versions of sites.
Opera - Has problems with various websites that were only designed for popular browsers (Trident/Gecko/WebKit), sometimes produces various errors.

Anyone knows of a lightweight browser for the N900 that just works?
good luck finding a better browser than MicroB on a pocket device
