No it's not. It's simply not well explained even though it works really well. It needs a bit of practice, however.

You go to a menu option, let's say fullscreen under view, that out of the box is assigned to a non existent key, and when you hover it, you press the desired keyboard key, like F, or so.

The problem lies mainly in the conversion from mouse focused UI to a touch focused one. In the desktop version, you would go with your mouse and select, but before you let go of the mouse, so whilst still selected, you press the desired key. Our version is unaltered but it's a little bit more difficult to achieve.
