[QUOTE=Robchoc;100020]My n800 arrived a few days ago and I’m so impressed with it. I had a nightmare trying to tether it to my mobile phone. You see, I flashed my phone to mobile 6 and now realise that M$ has removed Bluetooth DUN and replaced it with Bluetooth PAN. The n800 does not support PAN so I had to find another way.

After hours of scouring the internet for a solution I came across a right gem.

It’s basically a simple script that changes a line in the registry of the mobile phone (pocket pc). So instead of using bluetooth for it's ICS it now uses much faster WIFI.

Now I can connect to my mobile phone over WIFI using ad-hoc and it’s very fast as I am with T-mobile and they support HSDPA.

Also my mobile can now be used as a gateway with anything that has WIFI.

Surfing speed is the same as when I am on my home wifi network, pages just take seconds to render.

Can’t wait for OS2008

Very cool but You have one problem..... No Power saving mode while in ad-hoc battery will drain in under an hour and a half!
