Man I wish i put out the few extra bucks and ordered from KLC in the first place.

Ordered a cover off ebay for the same problem as in OP. Thought it'd be alright from the UK. Ended up with what I think is a fake.
Fits a little small, plastic feels cheap, and they left out both the magnetic strip on the camera cover and the magnet on the flip-out stand.

Aside from the cut corners, this fake still managed to use the same lens cover design as the original. Maybe 10 swipes open and shut and it appears to be falling victim to the same issue. Oh well, maybe I'll be able to cannibalize the spring from this cover to fix the original before i order another.
