I'm still quite a few posts short of the PM limit, so I use this opportunity to ask what sorts of improvement in general I could expect from going beyond the stock 2008.43.7 - apart from the obvious access to a huge amount of new software?

Are there any power management benefits to be gained (as of now I'm getting around 2h of battery life during mixed use with BT/WiFi on)?

What are web browsers of your choice to be used on n800? Is it possible to tweak the microweb with, say greasemonkey, enough to browse the web with javasript turned on?

I know that some of the questions above have been pondered in other threads here, but most of them are two to three years old and I hope that some improvement might have happened in the meantime.
