I got the same message and subsequently got stuck in boot loop by using apt get update followed by apt get upgrade, never got me in trouble before but there is a first time for everything.
Pls advise if a flash of the rootfs will get me back on track - n900 is my media device and i would rather not have to mess with the emmc as it has a lot of music and video?
