It's actually cheaper to buy more and throw away. My teachers were right: capitalism is rotten to the bone! (Yes, I grew up in the workers' paradise behind the iron courtain )

For soldering we could try and mate a dummy other half to keep the 3 pieces in line and pitch.
Are you telling us that you want to cut'n'solder 272+ connectors by hand? Wow!
