I could never get a nice photo in low light - but in bright day light the N900 works good - though the half-press to focus is not set properly (or is it my device only? ). On My N95 the half-press was distinctly felt when I pressed the button - but on my N900 I just can't seem to feel it easily - as a result many a photo are unfocussed and not sharp. So I checked the box going green method to make sure I had half-pressed before clicking the shutter fully.
