Does anyone know how to stream from Open Media Player on the N900 to a Linux PC running pulseaudio (with pulseaudio networking enabled on the PC)?
I have read various tutorials and set up the N900 and PC as per
this guide
, but I can't seem to get OMP to use pulseaudio network transparency.
I have tried running OMP from an Xterm on the N900 with PULSE_SERVER=x.x.x.x:y (matching the IP and port the pulse daemon on my PC is listening on), but OMP just plays via the speakers.
I also tried adding a tunnel sink per the above guide, but when I try to use pacmd on the N900 (either as user or root) it tells me:
Code:
# pacmd set-default-sink usbnet No PulseAudio daemon running, or not running as session daemon.
Can anyone help?
