Good... you got it ....You will probably mess with it a few times until you get it the way you want it....it isn't that people's explanations on how to do it are lacking....it's the method the programs to clone are set up for compat. ...ease of use and simplest methods of achieving the desired goal...when creating such programs... specifics must be applied....hence explanations no matter how detailed do not compare to the subjective experience of the user.... ie. the instructions and advice I and others have given may seem obtuse right now...but when you are doing the process there is a simple 1-2-3 logic to it all...if you encounter errors or problems...simply stop ...exit... power down...reflash the firmware and start over...takes a heartbeat. I'm sure you will do it a few times until the last "AH-HA!" revelation hits (you'll have a few along the way) esp. if you think in windows and linux and now maemo-linux .This is why I suggest having all the necessary packages downloaded (pre cloning and diablo-turbo updating stuff and including web links to specific pages)....on your external sd card...that way...if (rather when ) you must reflash...you can easily access/ transfer whatever you need as needed without having to painstakingly go through the whole ugly downloading processes over and over and over.

When you finally knuckle down to do it...on your pc have multiple windows open with all the pages for installing whatever immediately to hand...so you can easily reference (CSSU page...ASUI page in garage...diablo-turbo installation page in talk and the page in garage...pb console tool v1 install procedure page in talk and the newbie faq linked page in bold type there...etc..) everything in it's order...THAT is a big big help when doing all this the 1st time. After the n-teenth time doing it all it'll be old hat to you and you'll be thinking gadzooks!...that really was pretty easy (though at the time it may as well seem like trying to climb Kilimanjaro with eyes closed, backwards, and upside down ) and you'll be going from reflashing to full diablo-turbo and multibooting in under an hour...
