No typo, it's a $6 board. That's even cheaper than the Raspberry Pi Zero and the C.H.I.P. The Indiegogo page states

where it states the Allwinner V3s has integrated 64MB DDR2. Linux is actually quite capable of many things with only 64MB. It doesn't seem like that long ago that I was using a PC with less memory than that.
