I like this thread! I saw the flash mockup of the video editor a while ago and when I found out nobody seems to be writing a video editor it inspired me to start developing for N900. I have started writing some code that will eventually turn into something resembling that video editor. If there is a lot of interest in it, it will probably motivate me to work harder and faster!
