Post from a few days ago...

Guys...
I'm sorry...
I really wanted to be a candidate...
really.
But at this moment I'm just now dealing with the fact of my 10 year relationship going down the toilet with my significant other absolutely out of the blue informed me roughly 3 days ago that "we are through" .
I haven't eaten since then..
and am doing considerably well on the exterior compared to the wreck I am inside.
My chest feels like it has been ripped out.
My entire world has been thrown upside down... and it really makes me want to chew a bullet...and I'm trying really hard to find a reason not to right now.
the upset, grief, and turmoil I am at this moment going through.
I don't think for this quarter I would be a fit candidate...
Next quarter or half perhaps...
If I make it that far..

Yesterday...

Got a freakin' grip
I'm back in the candidacy race...
don't scratch me off just yet.
I'm stickin' it out ...
If I get in ...it'll help keep me sane

I got through to my lady...
and she and I are going to do some couples counseling...
it's either that or it is carving up our life and I don't think she wants to end things with 1/2 a fantastic life...when working through stuff means she has 100% a fantastic life.
Ok enough of my bloody problems.
let's get back to this business of the elections...

As far as my lady and I ...we are working at it...hopefully she sees the value in "us". So we'll see.
Gonna clean up my woeful mess a few posts back here..

Normally.... there just aren't the words in any language to convey my overwhelming affection for the lot of you.
And the care expressed by you most certainly refills a chunk of my ripped out chest.
