It can also mean that you don't have enough space for the update. It is usually rootfs that runs out of space first. Flashing will definitely help but might be a bit of an overkill, try clearing up some space first to see if it helps.
This worked, thanks a lot both of you!

I have extras-testing and -devel, I temporarily disabled those and the update went through fine (Something I saw on the wiki page you linked).
