It does if you don't boot after ex.
sudo flasher -F <yourmainfirmware.bin> -f

but immediately run ex.
sudo flasher -a <yourmainfirmware.bin> -k zImage_2.6.32.54-openmode_l2fix --flash-only=kernel -f -R
