I've been able to get internet on my laptop from the n950 via bluetooth. I've heard that openvpn already works, but not sure if there's a UI yet. openvpn is one of the things I'm investigating as well, followed by rdesktop / vnc. I can ssh from the phone as well - but from what I've heard, the n9 will not have a terminal by default. It can be installed from some repos though.
