Sorry for a somewhat rookie question, but the virtual keyboard doesn't come up for me when I click into a Flash form. How do I force the keyboard to come up?

Thanks!

Good question, I've never even thought of that.
I have never been able to work out how to bring up the keyboard without a standard text box to write in.

With default settings the center button in the D-pad brings up the keyboard...

There certainly should be a way to force the keyboard to pop up, but as a workaround you could use another virtual keyboard, like xkbd, xvkbd, or matchbox-keyboard.

matchbox-keyboard is my virtual keyboard of choice, just need to find a better way to show/hide it; for now i use a shell script to launch or kill.

Someone should hack it up like xkbd so it uses XMoveWindow to "iconify", and translucency would be nice too, anyone?
