How can I set a sig file in the Modest client? Call me a geek, but I want a sig file that says, "Sent from my Nokia N900"

For a Nokia Messaging mailbox, edit the account, click on Mailboxes, select the mailbox to edit, scroll down the list of options until you get to the "Use signature" checkbox (check it) and then tap on the "Signature" button to enter your signature text (default is "Sent from my mobile computer using Nokia messaging") then click Save (twice).

Not sure how to do it for other account types.

I think the default depends on your settings. I don't use Nokia Messaging - the default on mine was 'sent from my n900' I think.

I am using a NAM N900. I am running Modest configured for Gmail. I am not using Nokia Messaging.

I just checked the settings and don't see any options for a sig file.
