Hello,

does anyone know a way or application to send SMS with one hand?

I know I am faster with the hardwarekeyboard but sometimes it is usefull to me

(example: standing in the bus or train and holding myself with the other hand to prevent falling)

There is currently no method for text entry in portrait orientation (one handed operation).

Enabling an on screen T-9 style or mini QWERTY input system is probably one of the largest obstacles for Nokia in implementing a more system wide support for Portrait orientation.

Allmost everything is possible on our fantastic N900...
...so it is wondering me that it is so difficult...

Lacking T9 OSK, Automatic Screen Rotation, and a simple RSS reader that doesn't require a stylus are killing me. But I'm sticking by MeeGo...

Maemo is built for landscape use, that's why(I think).
