Yesterday my phone stopped charging a battery, and I suspected my charger was at fault, as a spare battery charged okay.

Powering the phone off, I found that the battery charge cycle would start, run for 20 seconds and then restart (with the dimmed Nokia logo).

Then in the evening neither battery would charge, and I was unable to connect via USB to a PC either - nothing happened when I attached the Nokia cable.

After some googling, I tried removing the battery and holding the power button for 30 seconds. Amazingly, this allowed both batteries to charge normally with the phone powered off.

This morning the phone will not charge, at least whilst running, and I received a yellow notification message saying "OH NO!!!". My immediate thought was that it was malware.

If any Nokia tech is reading this, is that a known error message the N900 can generate under certain conditions?

Has anyone else seen this notification before?
