bro its wise to have win as the primary and ubuntu as the secondary 
i have installed win 7 in my lappy and ubuntu inside win 7 as a .exe file using wubi

also now you can use usb to create bootable disk, if you do not want to burn cd and your pc supports boot from boot disk.
