Is there a way to configure the options menu box to the left instead of current default right? I am right-handed and mostly use my right hand fingers to access the menu box (long press). The problem is the menu box will launch on the right side which will be shadowed by my finger - thus I cannot see the options. Of course, using the stylus avoids this problem, but I would like to check if there a setting option on the N900?

What you call "menu box" I think most people call "context menu" or "popup menu" (as opposed to the menu you get when you click on the title bar). There is no setting to make it appear to the left, and I agree, it is very annoying. Previously I would have said that only Nokia could fix this, but with the magic being done these days with CSSU, who knows!

Were all Nokia engineers left handed I wonder? How could they have missed this obvious thing?

Well, until we have a fix, just have to be careful where we press.
