Diablo 43-7 :

Is there a way to chose a default setting of wifi power saving mode

when connecting to a new network , (apart from saving and editing the network) ?

??

Paradoxically enough, PSM is actually global even though it's buried in the per-connection settings.

Is it? I thought it was just the 10mW/100mW setting that was like that.. but then again I don't run OS2008 myself, but that's the impression I got from other posters (that the PSM setting was really per-connection).

So, when I connect to an un-saved wifi net,
the power saving mode will be set the same as in the last saved net I was connected to ?
Even if I go from offline mode ?
Correct ?

EDIT:
And if I then want to change the PSM I just save and edit,

or can I edit any connection,
e.g. chose one with the intended PSM, click on it and resave it ?

Is there any way to un-bury the PSM setting ?
