Hi all,

As the title says my phone won't switch on unless on charger or usb.
I've tried flashing it twice but the problem is still there.
Anyone has any ideas why is this happening?

coz u gotta press the power key for like 3 sec

No,its started doing this after last update.
When I press the power button it starts to start up and then it just loops start up until I connect it on charger and eventually comes on.

maybe the battery is bad, if it can't read the voltage properly it might not want to start. does it show the battery is full when you boot?

your cheapest solution would be the battery. and that's what it sounds like to me.

but if oyu are certain it happened after an update, than maybe something wrong with the internal, power-handling hardware on the board?

thanx lads.
nope, not the battery. just tried with the battery from 5800XM and it still wont start up.
any more ideas?
