I am using the e-mail client that came on the NOKIA 810. I configured it for the SMTP servers of my ISP that provides my broadband access which is a cable company. When I am home I have no trouble either sending or receiving mail. However, when I go to work and connect to the wireless router there I can receive mail but when I try to send mail I get an error message that the SMTP server cannot be reached and the mail stays in my output folder. Every few minutes it tries to send it when it picks up mail and it fails. As soon as I go home it works. What do I adjust to fix this issue ? Thanks
P.S. the mail server for sending is the same as the mail server for receiving

to check if you can connect to the mail server from your work ...

in terminal
telnet 1.2.3.4 25 (change that to whatever your smtp server's address is)

If you see problems connecting then it might be a firewall configuration on the wireless router thats blocking.

When I go to the X terminal app on the Nokia it does not find the telnet command.
