when you register for store.ovi.com using your computer, it does not show the N900 in your account, but just visit
Code:
https://store.ovi.com/account/settings/set-device?terminalId=N900&fragment=1
and it will set your mobile to the n900 where you can browse the applications for the n900

Sending apps to your phone still says the store is not avail for your phone, but it does give you a peak.

Not working for me either. N900 is not listed in the phone choices.

Speedometer app looks interesting. Always like to compare my car's speedo to the GPS calculated speed.

Interesting to see the Ovi Store has a number of podcasts from Australian radio shows (Roy & HG, Hamish & Andy).

I could get into the website, even "Send App to Mobile", which sent a text message to my N900 with a link to download the app.

However, when I clicked on the link in the SMS on my N900, the web browser opens, but I get "We're sorry. Ovi Store is currently not available for your device".

I was able to get set up for N900 downloads. However, "Send to mobile" only seems to send the link to my device...the message doesn't actually come through. I wonder if the Ovi Store is trashing my Canadian based mobile?

Cheers!

For me, the account settings page insists on "international" format, i.e. "+1250*******". It refuses to save the number with the "+" in it.

Even so, I can get the URL for the download, but when I use the URL from the N900 web application, I get the "Ovi store is currently unavailable for your device." page.

Has anyone successfully downloaded any of the apps to your N900?

Cheers!

Brad
