Hey all.

My n900 used to auto-connect to the internet when needed.

Now it can't even connect when I open up the browser. I have to manually connect through the menu.

All the settings that I can find are configured as they should be.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks a lot,
Chris

I'm facing quite the same behaviour when autodisconnect is on. If you have it installed, try disabling/uninstalling it and see if it helps.

Hmm.. I shall give it a try =]

Although I did need that app, as leaving it on all the time kills my battery.

After trying it, it seemed to have worked. I disabled Autodisconnect, restarted and tested to ensure it worked OK. It did.
Then I re-enabled Autodisconnect and everything seems to work again =]

Thanks for you help.

Although my WinMob phone was annoying and slow... it did at least connect and disconnect itself, which was awesome.

after some more experimenting, ive discovered that it doesnt seem to be AutoDisconnect causing the problem, but rather another app: WiFiSwitcher.

with WiFiSwitcher enabled, my phone wont connect to the internet. however, with it disabled, but not connected to wifi, itll use the cellular internet just fine.

very strange indeed
