I've read that there is a port of the Quassel IRC client to Maemo, however I've Googled for it and looked on garage and haven't seen anything. Does anyone know of a stable or unstable port of quasselclient to maemo?

Thanks

i just built it in the sratchbox sdk, it compiles and runs fine, but the UI looks pretty terrible. no fault of quassel, its just not designed for the maemo ui. If you can get your maemo sdk up and running, the build is pretty painless.

you'll have to install cmake and git-core, but the directions here are pretty much bang on: http://bugs.quassel-irc.org/projects...inux_(english)

just remember to ignore the kde stuffs.

Hi,

I'm participating in the "Qtest Mobile App Port
Contest for Qt and KDE applications" (http://qt-apps.org/news/index.php?id=340) with Quassel2Go, a quassel (client) UI aiming to be usable on the n900. An early release, including a .deb for maemo PR 1.3, is available at http://qt-apps.org/content/show.php/...content=136828 (constructive feedback is welcome ).
