Hey

I'm trying to get my N810 networked with my vista machine (which I understand might be problematic?) so I can swap files between the two.

I'm working through the instructions on:

http://maemo.org/development/documen...king_bora.html

However when I get the part that requests I open the terminal and enter the line:

Code:
insmod /mnt/initfs/lib/modules/2.6.18-omap1/g_ether.ko
I am told that "insmod" is not recognised...any ideas what's up?

Most likely you were not in root mode. Search and install becomeroot.

The command you are trying to type in is a Linux command and won't work in Vista. I think you misunderstood, those instructions are for USB networking between a Linux box and a NIT.
