Not the brightest idea..but the N810 ended up in my pocket as we headed to the beach in Lake Tahoe this past 4th of July. As it was it was my girlfriend who used it there. I'm not quite sure what she's doing here but odds are she's playing Bomberman...

Why not? I hate going to the beach, but, from time to time, I have to go (you know, wife, kids) and my n800 coupled to an open access point is the only thing saving me from a sure death by boredom.
The n810, with its transflective screen, should be even better

Sand, sun, water, salt could all be hazardous to your tablet's health. An XO on the other hand sounds perfect :-)

And heat. I've brought my tablet to the beach twice. But that was in a thick case with my knapsack. I only took it out when laying under the umbrella

Well, I go to a beach where the sand is coarse (somewhat less of a problem), laying on a towel (so avoiding the sand) under the umbrella (I hate the sun) and either don't go into the water at all or if I do I leave my tablet under the umbrella.
Did I say that I hate going to the beach?

He's just finding any excuse he can to show off his girlfriend.

That's twice now

EDIT:

Although, if Nokia took the same approach, they could have sold a lot more tablets............
