Hi guys

I was cleaning my rootfs, by using the script given on http://wiki.maemo.org/Free_up_rootfs_space. then I did reboot my N900 and nothing, just black screen, it didn`t turn on

any ideas ?
I tried reflashing by flasher 3.5 for Vista, but I have no idea if I did it correct

well if you flashed it correctly then the dos promt would have said 100% or complete.

you will need to flash emmc too i think

I should run flasher 3.5 in dos prompt ?

follow the instructions on the wiki for flashing. all the info is there. i mean to say command prompt

when I wrote in dos prompt flasher-3.5.exe -F 3.2010.02-8.bin -f -R (for the firmware I want to flash) flasher says flasher v2.5.2 (Sep 24 2009)

3.2010.02-8.bin: %m

any ideas why ?

is the file you downloaded actually called 3.2010.02-8.bin ?

They normally have very long winded names.....

do u know the reason for this thing, why my phone after cleaning the rootfs and rebooting got black screen ?

I got the same problem yesterday after I have been cleaning my rootfs.
Needed to flash the firmware and the eMMC.
