it says that "i don't have permission" to get into /and/ folder from maemo (yes i typed "sudo gainroot"............i tried MC....also did not work

ensure rootsh is installed (extras-devel i think)
open xterm , new window and type root.
now type
Code:
mount /dev/mmcblk1p2 /and
Now you have mounted /and and are root it should work, i use winscp on pc to browse /and as i find it easier being able to see what im doing,not an expert with xterm !

when finished type
Code:
cd /
umount /and
to unmount or reboot to do thesame...

i cant mount the mmc... idont know why.
i did the command as mandatory in the wiki as root and the xterm returns me this message: "mounting /dev/mmcb1k1p2 on /and failed: No such file or directory"

what is happening?

Looks like a tyoo. Should be /dev/mmclk1p2. The first 1 should be a l.
