A new app popped up in Ovi Store. I am surprised there are no discussion at all on TMO.

Use it for a short while and it's pretty solid. A few more features this app could replace the official image viewer. Is the dev here?

i saw this app week ago it looks like crap and doesn't work any better than standard viewer , maybe scrolling is a bit faster but when you tap a photo it opens via standard viewer

Scrolling is really smooth. But it's very slow at finding images and constantly at max CPU load. If these two issues were fixed it would be a nice replacement for Nokia's image viewer that tends to forget about its image thumbnails regularly and continuously invokes hildon-thumbnailerd (Nokia's master piece of a CPU hog and the reason for many slow downs) to re-create them.

the comments on ovi says about a swirl mode, but I couldn't set any mode different than the standard squared one. Any idea?

yes, it's a spinning motion to zoom in the photos gallery, with finger or stilus, like the native one we have on the microb browser for exemple, but not in the native photos gallery, always works great for me !
