Hi,

i just bought a nokia 810 and upgraded to diablo. i installed fring but can run it. i click on the icon but nothing happens even restarted.
Any suggestion?!

unistall and reinstall. if that doesnt do it, try typing "fring" in xterm and report whats written.

when i typed fring in xterm, i got the following message:
fring: error while loading shared libaries: libhild onmm-1.0.so.1: cannot shared objet file: No such file or directory

From this website

What you have to do:
- open xterm
- become root (depending on what you have installed: "sudo gainroot" or "root" )
- type this : ln -s /usr/lib/libhildonmm-1.0.so.2 /usr/lib/libhildonmm-1.0.so.1

now open fring (or just type fring in xterm).

Alas, I can find this no longer. Is a .deb for n810 available somewhere?
